Summary | 0000609: PlayerPawn AttackAngleOffset & AttackPitchOffset
Description | Pretty much the title, would be nice to have a variable & property on actors to offset all their attacks without having to offset them. Possible use would be an over the shoulder camera, which should obviously aim not in the angle and pitch of the player, but in the direction of the landing point hitscan sent out by the camera, and right now the only way to implement this is by replacing all weapons - AttackZOffset exists to prevent this for Z height on attacks, so I think it would make sense to have an angle and pitch equivalent.

Sorry, but that looks to much like something without general usability. Find other ways to do it. |

I could find other ways to do this, but I really would like a way which is compatible with any weapons from other mods, whereas the way I'd have to do this would be by creating new weapon classes and redoing every weapon to fire with an offset, which still wouldn't account for weapons added by mods. If there's a mod compatible way to do this then please point me in the right direction because I can't think of anything apart from an in-engine solution :/ |
